TriLink Enterprises, Inc. is a Bay Area Business Committed to Serving a Vital Role in the Implementation of the Emerging California Cannabis Market.

The California Cannabis Industry is evolving.  Historically it has been a black market industry riddled with crime and tainted product.  California legislators passed the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act (MMRSA) in September of 2015 and enacted it in January 2016.  The MMRSA is composed of three separate bills: AB266, AB243. and AB643.  Although it has yet to be defined by the State of California, the role of Distributor in other state models has mirrored those for distributorship in the alcohol industry.  TriLink Enterprises, Inc. will meet the highest standards of compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.

The MMRSA defines “Distribution” as the procurement, sale, and transport of medical cannabis and medical cannabis products between entities licensed pursuant to this chapter (AB266,19300.5(p) ), and defines a “Distributor” as a “person licensed under this chapter to engage in the business of purchasing medical cannabis from a licensed cultivator, or medical canabis products from a licensed manufacturer, for sale to a licensed dispensary” (AB266,19300.5(q)).

The function of a Distributor is to act as the exclusive channel for transporting products from producers (cultivators and manufacturers) to testing labs for quality assurance and batch testing and then to distribute to regulated and licensed retailers, manufacturers, and medical research and development entities.
